Winter … A Different Perception …

It’s been a long harsh winter here in my part of southern Australia with low minimum temperatures recorded. Winter being my least favourite season, the cold and greyness has seemed never ending. This week, I re-discovered these beautiful words from Lewis Carroll which gave me a much needed lift. So with the promise of Spring in the air and with these words ringing through me, I’ll venture into the garden for some much needed ‘therapy’.“I wonder if the snow loves the trees and fields, that it kisses them so gently? And then it covers them up snug, you know, with a white quilt; and perhaps it says, “Go to sleep, darlings, till the summer comes again.” ― Lewis Carroll
